Our therapists give massage and host workshops with the older, less mobile and isolated people at the lunch club. Human touch is the most fundamental need we all share; massage increases feelings of social connection and bonding. Massage also helps those with poor circulation, arthritis, lack of mobility or tight muscles.
The Good Neighbour Scheme is a community-based charity that supports vulnerable people and fights loneliness. As well as the weekly lunch club, the charity arrange social events and outings, signpost to other local sources of help, and offer a befriending service.
